Aquamarines commission service allows you to create individual jewellery. You can have a beautiful piece of jewellery designed and hand crafted exactly as you want. You are involved throughout the whole process, making you feel a part of your own creation.

We work in both silver and gold, and can either source gemstones to specifically meet your brief and budget, or you could use stones removed from old jewellery and reused in a completely new piece.

Jewellery designer and maker Rose Ledbury will be happy to discuss your requirements with you. At this point she will do some simple outline sketches to confirm that we're thinking along the same lines.

When you have chosen the design you like, an estimate of price and time frame will be given.

Design confirmation

At this stage a more thorough design sheet will be produced and costings confirmed. There will be a small charge for this which will be redeemable against the finished piece (normally £10-£30)

When you are happy with the design a 30% non-refundable deposit will be required.

Making

Rose will then start the process of making the piece. All Aquamarine jewellery is made to the highest quality and will be hallmarked. On larger pieces photos of work in process may be emailed to you.

A photo of the finished piece will then be emailed to you, along with an invoice for the total amount. When payment has been received your bespoke jewellery will then be sent to you by Special Delivery.

This client had been looking for ages for a brooch large enough to fasten her favourite chunky cardigan - she loved my seahorses so we decided to make some reeds to fix them to, and to frame them in a large oval.

Hannah and Rhys met through Scuba diving and so wanted to celebrate this when they got married. A full set of jewellery was commissioned, inspired by a busy reef - not only for the bride but also matching pieces for the bridesmaids. The centrepiece is the hand made tiara, the delicate green apatite beads chosen to match details in the bridesmaids dresses.

When this Scuba diving lady saw her first Orca on a trip to Canada a full set of jewellery was commissioned to mark the occasion.

The bangle is made to her exact size - the instructions were 'once on, it's not to come off' (it of course can be removed but only with lots of fairy liquid & brute force!)
